The House of Two Truths
The House of Two Truths is a weighing up, an insider’s look at the anatomy of betrayal, deceit and the emotional baggage inflicted by serial two-timing double dealers.
The constraints of the concrete poetry and the Quadrille in all its forms provide an avenue for precision of thought expression and offer a road map of sorts for sarcasm, resignation, jagged truths, and hard-won clarity, or in the case of The House of Two Truths, clinical view.
The Quadrille Quarter (11 words, excluding title) and Quadrille Half (22 words, excluding title) are poetic forms invented and established by the author in 2025. Both derive from the Quadrille, a 44-word poem excluding the title, introduced by dVerse Poets Pub in 2016 to promote concise writing.
