Notes to Self, Labeled as Poems
A braggart represents nine poems—
simply sixty-two words that collide
in a word tornado, and nine
scribbles to oneself in a journal.
A drunk typist emulates a seizure
on a page, seeking participation awards
then rage baits the lovely muses
with line breaks and an identity crisis.
Still, a bowl of a verbal spaghetti
tastes like a rainbow of black and white.
