7+7

Cover by Dr Q: a soft pink ground with the title 7+7 in bright spring green at the top, and beneath it, handwritten in black and red, the equation 1+1= with the 1 of the answer struck through and replaced by 2.

Dr Q has done it again – written a book of poetry where pandemonium and repose share the same sofa and watch rain paint cartoons on the windows.

This time, she ordered both into strict word and syllable counts, introducing a new form — the Qku, a 7+7 format. The 7+7 is very simple— seven words followed by seven syllables. Easy.
