Grounds Coup at the White House

Out with the new, In with the old.

Your gaudy gold disclaims

dreams, talent and skill of poets

and artists alike to pursue.

Layers of bold crimson and ivory velvet

lacy blooms in effortless

grace waltz in the garden, judiciously perfume

the air where dew kisses pink roses.
